God Speed John Glen

The number of times that I have met John Glen down at KSC, he was always a Marine and still “in-charge” of all of the other Astronauts. He had a natural leadership quality, with a  dry and mischievous wit. John is a one of a kind who has a firm grip of life.  I remember the story he told about NASA not providing a camera with his first go around. That night before his launch, he found a 24 hour drugstore in Cocoa Bach, bought a 35mm camera, snuck it on-board and now the Smithsonian has it.
